About the role
This is an exciting opportunity to join the dynamic team at Smith McCarthy Wilson as a Paraplanner with potential to develop into qualified financial planning role. In this full-time role, you will be based in our Warragul VIC office and play a key part in delivering and implementing holistic financial planning services to our valued clients.
What you'll be doing
Assisting in the daily administration and implementation of our client advice
Collaborating with our Financial Advisers to develop and implement comprehensive financial plans tailored to clients' unique needs and goals
Maintaining strong relationships with clients by providing ongoing support and advice
Staying up-to-date with industry regulations, legislation and best practices
Contributing to the continuous improvement of our financial planning processes and tools
What we're looking for
Experience in either paraplanning or financial planning role
Strong technical knowledge of financial products, strategies and regulations
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts in simple terms
Proven track record of delivering exceptional client service and building long-term relationships
Ability to work collaboratively within a team and take initiative when appropriate
Commitment to professional development and staying up-to-date with industry changes
Ambition to develop into a qualified financial planner highly preferable
Australian permanent residency or citizenship required
